Description
The Barn at the Paddocks is a 17th-century structure with 19th-century alterations. It is built from coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and stone coped gables topped with finials on a pantiled roof. The barn is single-storey with a three-bay front. There are two doors; the right door is a 19th-century planked door in a plain wood frame, while the left side has a three-light window. The left side also features double planked doors. All openings are fitted with timber lintels. The steeply pitched pantiled roof, which has a wavy ridge, suggests that the original roof is still intact. The interior has not been inspected.
