1671 HIGH STREET (North Side) Public Library TF 0307 1/101 22.5.54. II GV 2. Early C*). One storey in ashlar. Portico with 4 Tuscan columns, originally open between the columns. Very wide modillion eaves cornice in wood. Moulded pediment surmounts the whole frontage. On the site of the Shambles and a market.
