It features a pediment and cornice, with plain brick pilasters and stone dressings that define the bays for two round-headed windows and round-arched double-recessed doors made up of six fielded panels. A semi-circular fanlight with stained glass is above the doors. The building has plinth blocks and a plinth, as well as a small round ornamental window in the pediment. A new roof has been added. There is a plaque that reads 'Sunday School MDCCCCVI'. This building, along with the Congregational Church and Nos 7, 11, and 13, forms a group of local interest.
