Description
No 7 on Pinchbeck Road is a mid-18th century building that stands two storeys high with attics. It is constructed of painted brick and cement-rendering, topped with a modern roof featuring two segmental-headed dormers. The building has a moulded wood eaves cornice and three windows, including one three-light window in the painted section. The ground floor features two canted bays and another three-light window. There is a passage doorway with a central early 19th-century doorcase that has plain pilasters and a cornice supported by console brackets. The door itself consists of six panels and is situated beneath a blocked ornamental fanlight. This building served as a Sunday School for the Congregational Church, and along with Nos 7, 11, and 13, it forms a group of buildings of local interest.
