Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and early 19th centuries. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a painted brick side front. The roof is partly hipped and covered with concrete tiles. The building has two ridge stacks and a single gable stack.
The farmhouse is L-shaped and has two storeys with a four-bay front. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a six-panel door with a narrow overlight above it. To the left of the door is a single margin light sash window, while to the right there is a pair of margin light sashes. On the first floor, there are four similar windows aligned with the eaves. The ground floor openings have segmental heads and keyblocks.
Inside, the farmhouse retains two early 17th-century wainscot panel doors, one of which still has its original hinges.
