Description
Sycamore Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century addition and some minor alterations from the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a concrete tiled roof, with one gable having raised stone copes and the other side being hipped. It has a single gable and ridge stacks and is designed in an L-plan, with the rear range made of red brick. The farmhouse is two stories high and has a four-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door with a plain overlight. To the left of the door are two glazing bar sash windows, and to the right is a single glazing bar sash. On the first floor, there are three similar sash windows, all of which have timber lintels. At the rear, there are two light chamfered mullioned windows set in ashlar surrounds.
