Description

The Ship is a public house located in Pinchbeck Northgate, dating from the 17th century with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a thatched roof with tile-coped gables and three gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and is a single storey plus attics. The front has three bays with a dentillated eaves course and a cornice. The entrance consists of a half-glazed door flanked by single glazing bar sashes, with all openings having segmental heads. The roof includes two gabled thatched dormers, each with two-light casements and boarded gables. Inside, there are two chamfered girders, one of which has a triangular stop.
