Description

The End Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a pantile roof with a brick-coped tumbled gable at the front, a gable stack, and a hip roof at the rear. There is a large external stack on the left side. The cottage is two storeys plus a garret and has a two-bay front with a plinth, first floor, and gable bands. On both the ground and first floors, there are pairs of glazing bar sash windows with segmental brick heads. In the gable, there is a single similar window. The interior retains some full-height raised and fielded softwood panelling, matching doors with L and H hinges, shutters, and cornices.
