Description
Flour Mills Lodge is a lodge built in 1825, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a polygonal slate roof with a single ridge stack. The building has a rectangular plan that cants out to the west and stands two storeys tall.
On the east, south, and south-west canted sides, there is a single pointed glazing bar sash window with intersecting traceried heads and stone lintels. The west side has a datestone inscribed 'FAH 1825'. In the north-west canted bay, there is another single pointed glazing bar sash window with an intersecting traceried head and stone lintel. A 20th-century doorway with a glazed door is set back to the left in the rectangular range. Above, in the east, south, south-west, and north-west canted bays, are additional single pointed glazing bar sashes with intersecting tracery.
