15/51 Barrington House (No.32) 30.6.66 G.V. II

House. c.1825. Red brick. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves with paired brackets and 3 lateral stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bay front with central doorway with three-quarter ionic columned doorcase with entablature and cornice, panelled reveal, decorative fanlight and panelled door. Doorway flanked by 2 glazing bar sashes on each side. 5 glazing bar sashes above. All the windows with cambered heads. Slightly set back to each side are stone coped red brick raking walls terminating with outer rectangular stone coped piers. Each contain a semi- circular headed doorway, that to the right being blocked; that to the left with a wrought iron gate.
