Description
No. 52 Siltside is a house built in 1804, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a concrete tiled roof, featuring two brick gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century half-glazed door topped with a Gothick traceried fanlight, and it is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads. On the first floor, there is a central semi-circular headed sash window with Gothick tracery, also flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The right gable displays a datestone inscribed with "WB 1804" and includes wrought iron ties with the initials WB.
