Description

No. 42 High Street is a house built around 1830, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped pantiled roof with two wall stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay front. The central bay has a 20th-century brick porch, with single windows on either side. On the first floor, there is a central semi-circular headed window flanked by single windows. All the windows are glazing bar sashes with Gothick tracery and flat rubbed brick arched heads.
