Description

Milestone located opposite Yew Cottage on Wisbech Road in Long Sutton. This milestone dates from the late 19th century and is made of painted ashlar. It has a rectangular shaft that stands about one metre high and features a moulded head. The front of the milestone is inscribed with "Wisbech 8 miles, Long Sutton," while the right side reads "To Tydd 2 miles" and the left side states "To Long Sutton 1 mile." Yew Cottage is not included in this listing.
