Description
Seagate Hall is a vicarage, now a residential home, built in the late 18th century with early and mid-19th century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with two ridge stacks and two rear stacks from the 19th century. The building has a moulded cornice and wide paired bracketed eaves with a band underneath. It stands two storeys high and has five bays.
The central entrance is a 19th-century colourwashed porch set on a high stepped plinth, featuring part glazed double doors flanked by a single pair of pilasters. The entablature above is decorated with pairs of palm leaves and a cornice. On either side of the porch are two glazing bar sash windows, with five similar sashes located above. All the sashes have flush wedge lintels. Inside, there is a staircase with decorative wrought iron balusters.
