Description

The Goddards is a house, now divided into three dwellings, built around 1800 with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a concrete tiled roof with stone coped gables, hidden behind an ashlar coped parapet, and has gable stacks. The building is two and a half storeys tall with a three-bay front. The central doorway has an open Doric porch supported by fluted columns and an open pediment. Inside the porch is a semi-circular headed doorway with a panelled reveal and a partially glazed door. The doorway is flanked by 20th-century canted bay windows that have glazing bar doors and are accompanied by single fixed glazing bar lights. Above, there are three glazing bar sash windows, with three smaller glazing bar sashes above them, all featuring flush painted wedge lintels. On either side of the main structure, there is a single-storey single bay, each containing a semi-circular headed glazing bar sash window with intersecting tracery.
