Description
Bradwell House (Number 6) is a house, now divided into two dwellings, built around 1770 and altered around 1948. It is constructed of red brick with a pantile roof and brick end stacks.
The exterior features a two-storey front with four windows and an additional two-storey bay on the left. The main entrance, located slightly right of center, has a six-panel door with glazed top panels set in a moulded timber doorcase that includes a pulvinated frieze and pediment. To the left of the door are two unhorned sash windows with six panes each, set beneath gauged skewback arches. On the right side, there is a 20th-century six-panel door leading to No. 8, followed by another unhorned sash window under a gauged skewback arch. The first floor has four flush-framed unhorned sash windows, each with six panes, also under gauged skewback arches. A moulded brick eaves course with modillions runs along the top. The left end bay features a plank door, a top-hung window on the first floor, and a plain parapet that conceals the roof.
The interior has not been inspected.
