GV II

House, now three houses. c1825; subdivided c1870 when alterations included addition of third storey to centre block and entrance extensions. Red brick with gault-brick front; slate hipped roofs with brick stacks. EXTERIOR: 3-storey 3-window centre block flanked by single 2-storey bays and single-storey entrance bays. Left entrance bay has reset 6-panel door with glazed top panels in moulded doorcase, and pierced parapet. Right entrance bay has porch on right return: front has 6/6 unhorned sash window with louvred shutters, and plain parapet. Centre block is full height segmental bow with three 6/6 unhorned sashes on ground and second floors; on first floor, three French windows opening on to wrought-iron balcony. Flanking bays have one 6/6 unhorned sash on both floors. All windows have louvred shutters. Right return: projecting porch with 4 rusticated brick piers on ground floor. Two French windows on first floor, with shutters, and blind window to right. INTERIOR: staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail. Regency marble chimneypieces. Panelled window shutters.
