Description

South Green Cottage is a house dating from around 1820, with early 20th-century rear extensions. It is constructed from gault brick and features a slate hipped roof with a brick ridge stack.

The exterior has two storeys and a three-window front. It includes a Doric doorcase with a flat hood, which frames a six-panel door that has glazed top panels and an overlight with intersecting circular glazing bars. To the left, there are two windows, and on the first floor, there are three replacement six-over-six unhorned sash windows, all set beneath gauged skewback arches.

Inside, the cottage features two mid-19th-century chimneypieces.
