Description
No. 10 High Street is a house built around 1825. It is constructed of brown brick with painted stucco dressings and features a hipped slate roof with a single ridge stack and a stack at the rear. The house has two storeys and two bays. The doorway is located to the left and has a plain doorcase with an entablature, a panelled reveal, a traceried overlight, and a partially glazed door, all set under a panelled Doric porch. To the right of the doorway, there is a single glazing bar sash window, with two glazing bar sashes above. The east side of the house has two glazing bar sashes on the ground floor and two glazing bar sashes above. All windows have cambered heads and stucco wedge lintels with raised keystones. There is a single-storey range set back to the right, which features a semi-circular headed doorway to the left with a stucco head and raised keystone, and a partially glazed door. Another semi-circular headed opening with a stucco lintel and raised keystone is blocked to the right.
