Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century, is a house with an attached garage located on Spalding Road in Pinchbeck. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with red brick wall stacks. It has a wooden dentillated eaves cornice. The farmhouse is two stories high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with a taceried fanlight, set within a semi-circular headed recess. On either side of the door are small canted bay windows that have glazing bars and lead roofs. The first floor has a central narrower glazing bar sash window, flanked by two wider glazing bar sashes. All windows are topped with flat rubbed brick splayed arches and have contemporary louvred shutters. At the rear, there is a later addition that was converted into a garage, featuring a 20th-century garage opening and three semi-circular headed windows with cast iron lattice casements and Gothick heads above.
