GOOSEY GOOSEY GREEN SU39SE (South side) 1/47 Yew Tree House and attached barn

Farmhouse, now house. Graffito JW 1791 on brick left of door. Front of Flemish bond brick with flared headers, with brick to left and uncoursed limestone rubble to right; old tile roof; brick stacks. 2-unit plan with rear left outshut. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Segmental arches over C20 door and flanking late C19/early C20 three- and 5-light casements: late C18 three-light first-floor casements. Dentilled eaves. Gabled roof; gable end stacks. Narrow mid C19 two-storey block of red brick partly over original rear outshut has red brick walls with limestone quoins and gabled old tile roof; similar mid C19 one-bay wing at right angles with original 2-light casement to right. Interior: C19 plank doors and panelled shutters. Plain beam and wood bressumer over fireplace to right. Subsidiary features: 2-bay hay barn and cowhouse to right, of original timber-framing over mid C19 and late C18 brick to right, with late C18 brick to rear; half-hipped old tile roof. Interior: 2-bay collar-truss roof.
