Description

This sundial, located 3 metres east of The Close, dates back to 1631. It is made of ashlar stone and bronze. The sundial features a plain ashlar column with a moulded rim, which stands on a circular base. The bronze time plate is inscribed with the year '1631' and is topped with an ornate bronze gnomon.
