Description
Russell's House is a former farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, accented with brick dressings, and features a pantile roof that has two brick gable stacks and partly brick tumbled gables. The house has quoins and is two storeys tall with attics. The south front has five bays, with a central doorway that includes a 20th-century door and overlight, flanked by two glazing bar sash windows. Above this, there are five additional glazing bar sash windows, all featuring segment heads. At the top, there are two flat-headed dormer windows with two lights each. The rear of the house has a catslide roof.
