Description

The dovecote at Hall Farmhouse is an early 19th-century structure built from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a pantile hipped roof. It has a square plan and a brick plinth with flush ashlar quoins. The south face includes a single doorway with a flush ashlar surround, along with a single shuttered opening on each face, also featuring flush ashlar surrounds. At the eaves, there is a stone flight perch on each face. The pyramidal hipped roof is topped by a small wooden lantern that has slatted ventilator sides and a pyramidal roof.
