Description

The building is a smithy attached to Primrose Cottage, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and brick, topped with a pantile roof that features a large glazed roof light and a single brick gable stack on the south side. The structure has irregular quoins and brick-decorated eaves. It is a single storey with three bays, featuring a central stable door flanked by two-light glazing bar sliding sashes set under wooden lintels.
