Description

This is a house dating from the mid-18th century and early 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with a concrete tile roof and has two brick gable stacks. The front of the house has quoins and is arranged in a double range plan over two storeys. The street facade features a central doorway with a panelled door, and single two-light sliding sash windows on either side, all with segmental stone lintels. Above these are two smaller sliding sash windows with glazing bars. A rear wing, dating from an earlier period, has a catslide roof. This building has group value, contributing to the character of the High Street.
