Description

This is an early 18th-century house, altered in the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. The roof is tiled with pantiles, featuring two red brick stacks and ashlar-coped gables. The house has a chamfered plinth, raised quoins to the first floor, and moulded eaves. It is two storeys tall with attics.

The east front has five bays. The central doorway has a panelled door and overlight, sheltered by a painted ashlar porch with square Doric columns supporting a flat hood. Either side of the doorway are two glazing bar sash windows set in plain painted ashlar surrounds. Above, there are five similar sash windows, also within plain painted ashlar surrounds. Two segment-headed dormer windows with glazing bar sliding sashes are set into the roof.

Attached to the front is a low wall with an ashlar coping and spearhead railings, including a central gate.
