Description
This is a range of farm buildings located to the south of Home Farm House, built around 1835 by W A Nicholson. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble and white brick, featuring ashlar and white brick dressings. It has a slate roof with ashlar coped gables and moulded kneelers, along with a white brick plinth and a dentil eaves cornice. The building is single storey with a blank gable front on the east side. The north front has seven irregular bays, which include, from the left, a glazing bar sash window, two stable doors, a plank door with an overlight, a tall glazing bar sash, another plank door, and a pair of 20th-century garage doors. Most openings are topped with white brick, segment-headed wedge lintels. This building is part of the complete estate village created by the Chaplin family of Blankney Hall and is included for its group value.
