Description

The Rose Pergola is a mid-19th century structure located in Aswarby Park, built as part of the estate for the Whichcote family. It is constructed from red brick and limestone ashlar. The pergola features approximately 50 tall circular brick piers topped with pyramidal limestone copings. In the center, there are a pair of taller square piers adorned with ball finials, and at each end, there are groups of four matching piers.
