Description
Glebe Cottage is a house built in the mid 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with some random blocks, and features Collyweston slate roofs with raised stone coped gables, moulded kneelers, and ball finials. The cottage has a T-plan layout and is a single storey plus garret with a three-bay front. The left-hand bays are advanced and have separate gables. The central entrance is a planked door set in a chamfered Tudor surround, flanked by a single four-light and a two-light chamfered mullioned window. On the first floor to the left, there is a similar two-light window. All windows have chamfered rectangular surrounds and moulded heads. The building is topped with a pair of wall stacks and a single ridge stack, all featuring twin square ashlar funnels and moulded cornices.
