Description

20A Market Place is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed from red brick with a Welsh slate roof. It features a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice. The top floor has two windows with flat stone heads that include keystones, while the first floor has stone surrounds with a cornice supported by carved consoles. Notably, there are no glazing bars on the windows. The ground floor has a modern shop front. This building is included mainly for its contribution to an important visual group, which also includes Nos 20A, 21, and 22.
