Description

A row of twelve houses, numbers 18 to 40 Mill Road, dating from approximately 1857. The houses are built of brick with gabled and hipped slate roofs and have eight ridge stacks. They feature stone lintels and corbelled eaves. The two-storey elevation has fifteen bays. Approximately half the windows are original glazing-bar sashes, while the others are 20th-century replacements. Each house has a front door with an overlight, flanked by a single window, and a matching window above. A plain entry doorway with a smaller window above is placed between every third house. The interior has not been inspected.
