Description

This is a former rehearsal room, now a house, dating from approximately 1857. The building is constructed of brick with stone lintels and has a slate roof with two brick stacks. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The original design was square. The north side features two doors; the left-hand door has a lintel inscribed "Drummer's", and is designed to slide vertically to facilitate access for musicians carrying drums. A conventional door with an overlight is positioned to the right. On the front elevation, there are two multi-pane sash windows on each floor, with the upper windows being smaller. The interior includes stone steps leading from the left-hand door, and a blocked round-headed archway leading to the adjoining building.
