Description

Four early 19th-century houses, with alterations from the later 19th century, stand on Lindum Road. The houses are constructed of brick with slate and concrete tile roofs, featuring two gable and two ridge stacks. They have plinths and are arranged over three storeys, with eight bays each. Each house features a pilastered doorcase, topped with a bracketed hood and fanlight, with the doorcase to number 15 lacking glazing bars. To the left of each doorcase is a canted bay window, varying in height from one to three stages. The windows to number 18 have margin lights; the others are plain sashes. Above the bay windows are plain sashes, with a glazing bar sash to number 18. A further range of smaller sashes is above this, with the sash to number 16 blocked. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
