Description
Nos. 266 and 267 on High Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the early 17th century and was restored in the mid-20th century. The building features close studded timber framing with curved braces and plastered nogging, along with a 20th-century brick underbuild and a plain tile roof. It has a jettied first floor and stands two storeys high plus attics, comprising two bays. The façade includes two 20th-century three-light windows with wooden mullions and transoms, and above these are two four-light leaded casements. At the top, there is a near-central gabled dormer with a similar two-light casement. The interior has not been inspected.
