Description
This is a summerhouse located 70 metres west of Number 34 in Lincoln, dating from the mid-18th century. It incorporates a 15th-century two-light mullioned window and a 15th-century ogee-headed window, along with other worked stone fragments. The structure is built from coursed and squared stone and features a plain tile roof. The north-west corner is buttressed.
On the west gable, there is a chamfered pointed arched doorway with a mask corbel above it on the left, and a segmental pointed window with a hoodmould on the right. Above this, there is a round-headed opening. The north side includes a 15th-century flat-headed window.
Inside, the summerhouse has a single purlin roof with collar and arch braces, which were restored in the 19th century. The east wall features a corbel shaped like a devil.
