Description
Devonia is a house built around 1825, with late 19th-century alterations. It features a red brick exterior patterned with brown brick and has painted stucco dressings. The slate roof has coped gables, wooden eaves, and gable stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay front. To the left, there is a doorway with a triple roll moulded doorcase, an entablature that includes a dentillated band, a cornice, a traceried overlight, and a panelled door. To the right, there is a single glazing bar sash window with a voussoired wedge lintel and a raised keystone. Beyond this is a carriage archway with a basket arch, a lintel featuring imposts, voussoirs, and a raised keystone, which is filled with boarding. Above, there are three glazing bar sash windows, each with voussoired wedge lintels and raised keystones.
