Description
Westfield House is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of red brick with painted stone and stucco details, topped with a hipped concrete tiled roof that features two brick wall stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front, with the central and flanking bays slightly projecting. It has a plinth, a chamfered band at the first floor, and paired bracketed moulded eaves gutters.
The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, which is flanked by single fixed lights that have Gothick panels beneath them. Above the door is a traceried elliptical fanlight. This entrance is set within a large Doric surround, which includes battered square pilasters that support a triglyph frieze and a plain moulded entablature. On either side of the entrance are tall glazing bar sash windows. The first floor features three smaller windows that are similar in style. All windows are adorned with rusticated stucco lintels that have key blocks.
