Description
No. 24 Queen Street is a house built around 1825 to 1840. It features chequered red and brown brick with painted stucco dressings and has a pantile roof with wooden eaves and a single gable stack. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay front. The doorway is located to the right and has a voussoired wedge lintel, a raised keystone, an overlight, and a panelled door. To the left of the door is a glazing bar sash window, also with a voussoired wedge lintel and raised keystone. There is a break in the bonding beyond this window, leading to a carriage archway with a segmental head and double plank doors. Above to the left, there is a single glazing bar sash window with a segmental head, and to the right, another glazing bar sash window with a voussoired wedge lintel and raised keystone.
