Description

Nos 76 to 80 on Upgate are a pair of buildings dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of painted brick and feature a pantile roof, although No 76 has a cement tile roof. The buildings have two brick chimney stacks and three windows with wooden frames, marginal glazing, and hung sashes. On the ground floor, there are two segmental-headed windows and one flat-arched window for No 78. Additionally, there are three segmental-headed doorways, each with four-panel doors. A foot scraper is present at No 76. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 70 to 104 on the same side of the street.
