Description

Gunby Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond of three, topped with a pantile roof featuring brick coped tumbled gables and a single ridge axial stack. The cottage has a lobby entry plan and is a single storey plus garret. The front has three bays, with a central planked door set beneath a gabled open rustic porch. This door is flanked by two 20th-century two-light glazing bar casements, which are placed under flat brick arches. To the left, there is a later 20th-century addition.
