Description
The East Stable Block, Pump, and Mounting Block at Gunby Hall is a stable block built around 1736, with alterations made around 1900. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a hipped pantile roof. The building has two storeys and a five-bay front, which includes a plinth, a first-floor brick band, and dentillated eaves, arranged in a 2:1:2 pattern, with the central bay slightly advanced.
In the center, there is a four-panel door set within a semi-circular brick arch, flanked by two fixed lights with brick segmental heads. On the first floor, a taller two-light casement window is flanked by two similar windows. To the right of the door, there is an attached mounting block with two flagged steps, and beyond that, a pump featuring a lead spigot, a plain wooden case, and a handle.
