Description
The coach house and two gateways to Gunby Hall were built in 1735. They are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings. The building features a hipped pantile roof topped with a single wooden ridge turret that has a pyramidal lead roof. It is a single-storey structure with a five-bay front, characterized by dentillated brick eaves. The front includes three double panelled doors set within elliptical brick arches, which have ashlar keyblocks and imposts. The central keystone is marked with "WM 1735," and there are single six-panelled doors on either side, each with glazing bar overlights and cambered brick arches. On both sides, angled brick walls connect the coach house to stable blocks, each featuring a semi-circular archway with ashlar key and impost blocks.
