Mounded weapon preparation area, designated D1 and built in the 1960s.

MATERIALS: the building is constructed of reinforced concrete.

PLAN: the building is mounded, the only visible section is the entrance which is located within a concrete lined access path and is via a large double leaf steel door with a wicket.

DESCRIPTION: the interior of the building is full height and is painted concrete. The reinforced concrete frame of the building is exposed.
