Description

No. 131 High Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with two gable brick stacks. The building is two stories tall and has a three-bay front with a dogtooth eaves course. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a traceried fanlight, set in panelled reveals. This door is framed by a doorcase with an open pediment supported by fluted pilasters, and it is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, all of which have splayed stucco lintels.
