Description

This late 18th century and early 19th century house is located on Manor House Street in Horncastle. It is built of colourwashed brick with slate and pantile roofs, tile coped gables, moulded wooden eaves, gable stacks, and a single stack to the rear. The main part of the house is three storeys high with three bays, to which a two-storey, two-bay addition was added in the early 19th century. A doorway is located on the left side, featuring a semi-circular head, a moulded doorcase, a traceried fanlight, and a panelled door. A single glazing bar sash window is positioned to the right, with two longer glazing bar sashes beyond, all with segmental heads. A late 19th century canted bay window is on the left, with a central glazing bar sash flanked by single, narrow lights with glazing bars. Five glazing bar sashes are above, with three glazing bar sashes above to the left, all with segmental heads.
