Description
Nos. 15 and 17 Bridge Street are two houses, one of which has a small shop and is now combined into one house, while the other is derelict. They date from the mid-18th century to the mid-19th century and are constructed of rendered brick. The plain tiled roof features brick coped and rendered gables with gable stacks. The buildings are arranged in an L-plan and are two storeys high with a five-bay east front.
The doorway is located to the right and has a reeded doorcase, an entablature, a small bracketed hood, and a three-quarter glazed door. To the left of the door are two glazing bar sashes. To the right, there is a single, blocked, rectangular small mid-19th century shop front, with a blocked doorway beyond it. Above, there are three glazing bar sashes and a blocked window to the right. The north gable end has a small blocked rectangular bay window, a blocked window above it with a segmental head, and a small blocked garret window.
