Description
Manor Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, possibly a remnant of a larger house, which was extensively remodeled in the 19th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and is colour washed, topped with a concrete tiled roof that features a single gable and ridge stacks. The building is arranged in an L-plan.
The front of the house is two stories high with three bays. The central entrance has a 20th-century panelled door with a hood, flanked by single margin light sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. All the windows have splayed, stucco lintels.
Inside, the house retains massive beams, particularly in the front right-hand room, where the beams are roll moulded with shield-shaped stops.
