Description
Walnut Cottage and the adjacent cottage are two houses that date back to the late 17th century and were altered in the 19th century. They are constructed of colour washed brick and feature a concrete pantile roof, with raised brick coped tumbled gables and kneelers, as well as single axial and gable stacks. Originally, the building had a lobby entry. It is two stories high with a four-bay front that includes a first-floor band, which is interrupted by window arches and a dentillated brick eaves course. The ground floor has four glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads. On the first floor, there are two sliding sash windows and a plain casement window from the 20th century to the left.
