Description

White House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built of mud and stud, partly underbuilt in brick, and is finished with colour wash. The roof is made of corrugated iron and features a single off-centre chimney stack at the ridge. The building is single storey with an attic and has an irregular front elevation with four bays. There is a 20th-century door that is off-centre, located behind which is the chimney stack, flanked by plain sash windows. To the left of the front elevation, there is a single-storey extension that includes a two-light window. In the attic, there is a small window opening through the eaves. The interior is designed with a lobby entry plan.
